The US Transportation Security Administration has reportedly relaxed one of its rules regarding Fly Jamaica Airways.
Passengers leaving Guyana will no longer have to disembark the flight en route to the United States to undergo a second security check through Jamaica Immigration and Customs.
The American policy has been in place for a number of years. It restricted all non-US airlines originating out of Guyana, such as Fly Jamaica and Caribbean Airlines from flying non-stop to the US.
