Fly Jamaica Airways is set to launch charter flights from Georgetown Guyana, Havana, Cuba and New York in February.
News out of Guyana says it will do so through its Air Guyana brand.
The airline also plans to add scheduled flights in the future.
Fly Jamaica already operates under its own brand between Georgetown and New York JFK as well as from Georgetown to Kingston using its single Boeing 757 aircraft.
CEO Roxanne Reece believes that there is a solid market for the Cuba to Georgetown route, with many Cubans flying to Guyana for business.
