American low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines, has announced plans to launch a new route between Miami and Montego Bay as recreational travel steadily recovers from COVID-19.
The airline says flights are scheduled to begin on May 28.
Subject to government approval, the nonstop service will depart from Miami three times a week.
Lester Sola, Director and CEO of Miami International Airport, says Jamaica continues to be one of the airport's busiest international markets.
