Tesla also fell fie per cent after US President Donald Trump said he will be looking at the subsidies being received by Elon Musk's companies with a view to them being discontinued.
Most US stocks also dipped on the passage of the President's mega bill by a vote 51-50 in the senate.
Meanwhile, European stocks dipped as central bankers monitored the European Central Bank's annual forum in Portugal.
Asia Pacific markets again closed mixed as investors monitored the impact of Trump's tariff policies on the global economy.
