The Government is still searching for an operator to run the 226-room property formerly known as the Breezes Rio Bueno in Trelawny.
The resort, which is owned by the National Insurance Fund, has been closed since April 30 after the SuperClubs chain ended its management contract.
Pearnel Charles, Minister of Labour and Social Security, says discussions are now taking place concerning the hotel's reopening.
Nearly 100 workers lost their jobs when the hotel closed its doors.
