GraceKennedy acquires 100% stake in Catherine's Peak

GraceKennedy has reached an agreement with Spike Industries to acquire the remaining 30% stake in Catherine's Peak Bottling Company, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of GK.

The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and solidifies GK's dominant position in Jamaica's growing spring water market.

Frank James, CEO of GK Foods – Domestic, says this move aligns with GK's long-term growth strategy.

GK has been strengthening its position in Jamaica's growing spring water market, acquiring 876 Spring Water in 2021, and Unibev in 2023.

Mr. James, who will become the conglomorate's CEO next month, described the acquisition as a strategic milestone that reinforces GK's commitment to owning leading Jamaican brands with global market appeal.

This latest acquisition is part of GraceKennedy's broader vision to become the number one Caribbean brand globally by 2030, leveraging its strong portfolio of trusted brands to drive international growth.
