Workers at the Gran Bahia Principe Resort in Runaway Bay, St. Ann are back on the job.
The workers went on strike on Saturday forcing managers and casual workers to take charge.
Their decision was based on a dispute with the hotel's management over gratuity payments.
At that time it was announced that the workers would not resume duties until Monday.
However, the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) which represents the workers has been meeting with the management of the hotel since Saturday night and says the major issues have been resolved.
George Nicholas, Island Supervisor of the BITU, says following another meeting Sunday morning, all the worker's demands have been met.
He outlined the list of agreements.
"The gratuity payment will be increased from the present 3% to 5.5% effective December 1, 2010. The outstanding 2.5% retroactive amounts from the increase are to be paid before the next pay day February 15. On the matter of over time and double time, which the staff claim they have not been paid, will be investigated and if found to be true, the necessary adjustments will be done and the salary advice slips will be adjusted to reflect the hours and rate of work done as line items and not just a dollar figure," Mr. Nicholas said.
He added that a final agreement will be prepared within the next week by the company's lawyer and is to be reviewed by the parties.
