The Guyana-based Two Brothers Rice Milling Complex says it will be expanding its operations in Jamaica this year under the name Two Ali Brothers Corporation.
Chief Executive Officer Javed Ali says the proposed expansion is expected to strengthen the company's management, with the Jamaican market contributing to economic development and job creation.
Two Brothers operates seven retail outlets along the East Bank of the Essequibo and the East and West Bank of the Demerara River.
It distributes fuels, lubricants and LPG gas.
The company also owns the largest network of service stations in Guyana, while offering a wide range of other services such as Warfage facilities, ice production and rice milling.
The company recently made a donation of 20,000 kilogrammes of rice to residence in the parishes which were affected by Hurricane Melissa.
