Hess Corporation reports net income of $498 million

United States oil company Hess Corporation reported net income of US$498 million.

In relation to Guyana, Hess reported that net production from its operations reached 170,000 barrels of oil per day, up 57% from 108,000 in the same period last year. 

The company's overall net production in the third quarter rose to 461,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 17% from 395,000 in 2023. 

This increase, the company said, is "primarily due to higher production in Guyana."
