Jamaica Broilers Group is reporting a higher profit of $6.09 billion for its financial year ended April 2024.
This is a 42 per cent increase compared to the $4.29 billion profit made in the previous year ended April 2023.
This was supported by increased revenue of $92.96 billion.
For its 2022/2023 financial year, the company posted income of $91.37 billion.
Jamaica Broilers says its performance was tempered by higher costs associated with sales and distribution.
