Jamaica's foreign direct investment inflows declined during the March quarter of this year.
The Bank of Jamaica says FDI inflows fell to US$80 million in the quarter ended March, compared with US$101 million during the corresponding quarter last year.
However, the March quarter figure was higher than the US$37.6 million recorded in the December quarter of 2025, and US$70 million in September last year.
Foreign Direct Investment is an important source of capital for Jamaica, supplementing domestic investment and helping to finance economic activity and growth.
