Jamaica's unemployment rate for 1st 3 months of 2005 was 3.7%

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica has reported that the unemployment rate was 3.7% during the first three months of this year. 
 
This represents 54,500 of the 1.47 million people who should have been working during the period.
 
STATIN also says a total of 1.42 million people were employed during the January to March period, of which 763,000 were males, while 656,400 were females.
