The assets and liabilities of the country's commercial banks, which climbed to $2.7 trillion and $2.4 trillion in June of this year, were dominated by the National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS).
NCBJ had total assets and total liabilities of $958 billion and $842 billion, while BNS had assets of $687 billion and deposits and liabilities of $588.5 billion.
They were followed by JN Bank, with $285 billion in assets and $256 billion in deposit liabilities.
Sagicor Bank ranked number four, with total assets of $240 billion and total deposit liabilities of $210 billion, followed by JMMB Bank, which had total assets of $209.7 billion and $187 billion in deposit liabilities.
CIBC first Caribbean came in at number six, with $209.2 billion in assets and $189 billion in deposit liabilities.
First Global Bank and Citibank were next.
