The National Insurance Fund recorded a surplus of J$28.33 billion during the financial year 2023/2024 as its total assets jumped to $193.64 billion.
This was made up of $98.74 billion in investment securities; $39.82 billion in equities and $33.90 billion in unit trust assets.
The fund's net assets dipped, however, to $190.71 billion after the $2.93 billion in outstanding payables were subtracted.
