The National Environment and Planning Agency recently approved a permit for PriceSmart Realty Jamaica to construct a new 500,000 square foot office and commercial complex at 14 South Camp Road.
This, after net merchandise sales in Jamaica grew by 12.2% during the company's financial year ended August 2024.
Meanwhile, PriceSmart's overall Caribbean operations recorded an 11% jump in net profits to US$44 million.
Revenues increased by 6% to US$725.3 million.
This follows net capital expenditure of $16.93 million.
