Red Stripe will, on Wednesday, February 17, officially announce that the production of its beer for the international market will resume in Jamaica shortly.
Red Stripe, a long established Jamaican beer manufacturer, had moved its production for the overseas market outside of Jamaica sometime ago, to take advantage of benefits which it saw accruing from that move.
In light of more favourable domestic conditions, however, Red Stripe has made the decision to resume all of its beer production in Jamaica.
According to a media advisory from the company, the main speakers at Wednesday's press conference will be Finance Minister Dr. Peter Phillips, Ricardo Nuncio, Managing Director of Red Stripe, and Richard Byles, Chairman of Red Stripe.
