Italian company Gruppo Campari has announced the appointment of Robert Cooper as Managing Director of its Jamaican operations. He takes up duties Friday, August 2. Mr. Cooper will have overall responsibility for the operations in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Campari Mr. Cooper worked for Diageo for 13 years in various capacities.
Stefano Saccardi, Gruppo Campari’s General Counsel and Business Development Officer, will continue to serve as the chairman of J. Wray & Nephew. Lascelles deMercado, which was taken over by Campari, will merge Friday with J. Wray and Nephew.
