The JSE Index gained 2,452 points on Thursday, while the Junior Market advanced by five points.
Among the 41 winners were: MPC Caribbean Clean Energy, The LAB, Paramount Trading, Eppley 7.5 per cent shares due 2024 and Pan Jamaica Group.
The 36 losers were led by: Lasco Financial Services, Stanley Motta, PBS 10.5 per cent, Jetcon and Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances.
Twenty-five stocks closed the session, selling at the same price they started trading.
