TransJamaican Highway is reporting improved earnings for the year ending December 31.
The company said toll revenue increased to US$91.1 million, up from $82.8 million in 2024.
The company also recorded other gains of US$5.3 million.
However, operating expenses rose to US$23.6 million, while administrative expenses increased to US$11.2 million.
Finance costs remained relatively high at US$13.3 million.
Despite the higher costs, TransJamaican Highway posted a net profit before tax of US$48.2 million.
After taxation of US$10.3 million, net profit closed at US$37.8 million, an increase over the US$31.3 million recorded the previous year.
The results reflect continued growth in traffic volumes and revenue generation along the Highway 2000 corridor, even as operating costs trended upward during the period.
