Sandal Resorts International appears close to reaching a deal with the Trinidadian Government regarding the
establishment of a resort in Tobago.
The Office of the Prime Minister in the twin island republic says the Government and Sandals Resorts are working on a Memorandum of Understanding which it is expected will be executed shortly.
The Government met last Wednesday with Sandals Resorts Chairman, Gordon "Butch" Stewart, to continue discussions on the establishment of a Sandals resort at Golden Grove, Tobago.
