Activities to mark Bob Marley’s 67th birthday

Digicel and the Bob Marley Foundation have come together to celebrate the 67th birthday of reggae icon, Bob Marley,

The celebration for Bob Marley's  67^th  earth day is being held  under the theme  'We Jah People Can make It Work'."

Kicking off the month long celebration was a free family concert at Emancipation Park on Sunday February 5

 The concert featured musical tributes to the reggae legend from Kymani Marley, Freddy McGregor, Judy Mowatt, as well as performances from Digicel Brand Ambassadors, I-Octane and Jermaine Edwards.  The Uprising Roots Band and Chronixx also performed.

Celebrations are taking place at the Bob Marley Museum at 56 Old Hope Road to be followed by a grand party later in the evening.

The celebration will culminate with the annual 'One Love' Bob Marley Football competition between masters and celebrities, to raise funds for charity.
