Popular local band, Dubtonic Kru, were victorious at the global Battle of the Bands finals held in Malaysia over the weekend.
The band walked away with the trophy, a cheque for US$100,000 and the title of best new band in the world, after they competed against 24 other bands from various parts of the world.
Screams erupted from the audience after Dubtonic Kru was crowned the winner.
