Former manager for Bob Marley dies from cancer

The former manager of Bob Marley Danny Sims, died in Los Angeles, U.S. on Sunday.

Danny Sims signed Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1967  to a five-year contract.

Sims later sold the remainder of Marley's contract in 1972. Thereafter he reunited with Marley and became his manager before the reggae icon died  in 1981.

Sims produced many songs with the bob Marley and the wailers for his Record label, JAD and signed several acts to his Cayman Publishing Company.

According to the website hermosdarecords.com Danny sims was working on releasing several never-heard-before Bob Marley songs.

He died from cancer.
