Reggae singer Romain Virgo was voted as the best new talent in reggae for 2010 by listeners to Polish station Radio Euro.
The radio station which is located in Warsaw, Poland dominates 80 percent of the listening market.
Romain said he was surprised to hear but he is really happy about it. He said his recent European tour exposed him to a wide range of people, not just areas populated by Caribbean nationals.
He said he got to really showcase his talent and they loved it.
Romain is currently promoting his latest single Rich in love which is available on YouTube.
Meanwhile, another dancehall star, Chino, who already has a growing fan-base in Poland, was Radio Euro’s first reggae/dancehall interviewee for 2011.
Chino wants persons who are familiar with him to get more familiar, and for those who may not be so acquainted with his music to get to know, not only his music, but also about him as the artiste.
Chino will be releasing his US album in March.
