117 new COVID-19 cases

Jamaica on Sunday recorded 117 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total number of infections to 1,012.

The newly diagnosed patients range in age from one to 99 year. 

The Ministry of Health & Wellness also reported that 175 more patients have recovered from their sickness, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,660. 

There are now 4,163 active cases, with 38 patients moderately ill and 12 deemed critical.
