As investigations continue into recent crimes committed in August Town as well as Papine, St. Andrew, two persons have been charged in relation to a shooting incident in May.
The incident has been linked to last month's bloody feud in August Town.
Charged with shooting with intent and wounding with intent are: 24 year old Tiro Williams, otherwise called ‘Jesus’, of Dallas Road in August Town and 23-year-old Shavez Letford, of Tavern Drive, Kingston 7.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
Williams and Letford were taken into custody on June 20 after investigations revealed that they were among a group of men who shot and injured a man in Papine on May 12.
Detectives believe the incident is related to the June 23 violence in August Town and are continuing their investigations.
On Monday two men were charged in connection with the flare up in August Town two weeks ago during which four persons were killed and several others injured.
Owen Whitely otherwise called "Howie" and Dilton Foster also known as "Dil" were charged with the murder of 39 year old Rohan Simpson and Moses Davis.
The men were killed when heavily armed thugs invaded a section of August Town and opened fire on residents.
