5.2 magnitude earthquake rocks Trinidad & Tobago

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 rocked Trinidad last night but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The Seismic Research Centre Unit at the St. Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies said the quake, the second in the last three days, occurred while many people were attending various activities as the Carnival celebrations continued.

The SRC said Monday's quake had the same intensity of 5.2 as the one recorded on Saturday afternoon, which was at a depth of 54 kilometers.
