Less than 24 hours after several Caribbean islands were jolted by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2, the Trinidad & Tobago-based Seismic Research Centre (SRC) confirmed on Friday that a stronger quake was felt in other territories.
The SRC said the earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.7, was felt in Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, and Guadeloupe last night.
Earlier in the day, an earthquake rocked several other islands in the Eastern Caribbean.
The SRC reported that it occurred near Dominica.
It was also felt in Martinique and St. Lucia
This is the third earthquake near Dominica this week as well as the fourth recorded in the Eastern Caribbean since Christmas Eve.
