The number of illegal firearms seized at a Kingston warehouse on Wednesday has ballooned to 220.
It's understood that the weapons were discovered hidden inside an industrial-sized water heater that arrived in a shipment from the United States.
The operation, led by the police and the Jamaica Customs Agency, took place on Industrial Terrace in Kingston.
Radio Jamaica News sources say several rounds, several thousand rounds of ammunition were also recovered.
They say they are still processing the scene and are expected to release an official count of the weapons and ammunition later on Thursday.
This latest find follows the discovery of sixteen firearms in another shipment at the same warehouse in recent days.
