The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed the appointment of Audrey Sewell as Cabinet Secretary.
Her appointment takes effect August 1.
Ms Sewell is the Permanent Secretary in both the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
The OPM also announced the appointments of Ambassador Rocky Meade as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister and Arlene Williams as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
They will also assume their new roles on August 1.
The OPM says Ambassador Meade will retain his role as Ambassador for National Strategic Initiatives.
Ambassador Meade declined the post of Cabinet Secretary in September last year, after much public debate surrounding the constitutionality of his appointment.
