The Royal Bahamas Defense Force has called off the search for several Jamaicans and Haitians who were reported missing at sea near the Bahamas last weekend.
Search and rescue coordinator Commander William Sturrup says after four days of searching there were no signs of life or wreckage.
The missing boaters were passengers aboard a vessel that capsized on Saturday.
Twelve migrants comprising Jamaicans and Haitians were rescued and search efforts were conducted to find the other persons.
