Last year's Jamaica St Leger winner Intrestntimesahead under a brilliant ride by former champion jockey Reyan Lewis, landed the Labour Day Trophy for Overnight Allowance runners, the feature event on Friday's 10-race programme at Caymanas Park.
The 4 year old bay colt who closed out a double for champion trainer Jason DaCosta, covered the distance in 1 minute, 27.0 seconds to beat the 8-5 favourite Major Danger with champion jockey Raddesh Roman in a driving finish.
Meanwhile, champion jockey Raddesh Roman had a 3-timer on the card, having won race 7 astride the even money favourite Bob the Builder for trainer Greg Fennell; race 8 with the 8-5 chance Midnight Galaxy conditioned by Oral Hayden and the 10th and final aboard Hayden's 13-1 mild upsetter Another Mission. Racing continues on Saturday with a 10-race card starting at 11:50 am.
