A week after workers at Bahia Principe Hotel in Runaway Bay, St. Ann walked off the job, they are again threatening to strike this coming Monday.

Some workers who said they were expecting an increase in their pay this week told Radio Jamaica News on Friday afternoon that the promised increase was not reflected.

One of the workers told Radio Jamaica News that "Dis yah salary yah worse dan the last one."

Some staff who were scheduled to work Friday afternoon have not shown up.

Another disgruntled worker, while expressing dissatisfaction, said "Nuh body nuh happy with their pay."

Radio Jamaica News was also told that managers did not attend a meeting that was scheduled with staff to discuss salary.

When Radio Jamaica News sought a comment from one of the managers in relation to the claims, he said the media should speak with the workers.

He also said he was busy and that the media should make an appointment at the front desk to speak with management.
