Barbados: IOM to assist Barbados in developing a new immigration policy

Barbados says it will accept an offer from the International Organization for Migration to assist the island in developing a new immigration policy.
 
Home Affairs and Information Minister Wilfred Abrahams said Barbados is in the advanced stages of preparing new immigration and citizenship legislation.
 
He says this would contain policy directives that govern migration.
