Barbados: National schools safety policy to be developed

A national schools' safety policy is to be rolled out next month in September, which will seek to address safety and security issues in schools across Barbados.

Deputy Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson says the safety policy is expected to generate a greater sense of awareness among stakeholders and create a safe school environment.

She said that when completed, the policy will address safety, security, health, and ongoing maintenance.
