Barbados to remain on lockdown due to COVID-19 surge

 
Barbados will now remain on lockdown until the end of February as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to climb. 
 
Prime Minister Mia Mottley made the announcement on Monday.
 
Ms. Mottley said the period of national pause which would have ended on February 17 will continue until February 28.
 
The 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew will remain in place.
