Cable and Wireless is now "LIME".

The company today unveiled its new face at a press conference held at the Hilton New Kingston Hotel. LIME- Landline, Internet, Mobile and Entertainment, will essentially offer the same services, however its management says this will be done in different way.

According to Executive Commercial Vice President of LIME, Mariano Doble, the full suite of telecommunications services will be offered with the guarantee of efficient customer service and fast reaction time in instances of disasters and any other break in service.

"Today we have launched a new business a business that has transformed to provide real benefits to our customers. We make the commitment that even during time of national crisis such as the recent hurricanes that plagued our region, we'll ensure that customers can connect to and communicate with their friends and families. We want our customers to know that we will put all hands on deck," he said.

Mr. Doble says LIME will be launched across the Caribbean on Monday and will be in 13 markets in the region.

The commercial Vice President says the change from Cable and Wireless to LIME will be seen gradually in the change of billboards, media campaigns and overall changes made to its life style stores.

The company says LIME was born out of its Caribbean business transformation programme which began in May this year.
