Caribbean countries continue to monitor the progress of a weather system that is likely to become a tropical storm on Tuesday night.
The Miami-based National Hurricane Center said tropical storm warnings are in effect for several countries, including Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic.
A tropical storm watch is in effect for Saba and St. Eustatius, Haiti, Turks and Caicos Islands and the south eastern Bahamas.
The system is currently west of the French island of Guadeloupe.
