The Child Development Agency (CDA) has expressed regret at the death of 15-year-old Samantha Marie Prince of White Horses, St. Thomas.
Samantha died during the passage of Hurricane Dean after a block crashed through the roof of her house hitting her in the head.
While expressing condolences to her family, the CDA also urged Jamaicans to give children special attention during this difficult time.
The Agency also said it is offering limited services at its offices on King and Duke Streets in Kingston as well as its regional office in Montego Bay.
