The Customs Enforcement Team (CET) seized two firearms during an operation in downtown Kingston on Wednesday.
The Customs Department says a pump action rifle and a .45 semi automatic pistol with one live round were discovered.
No arrest was made.
The matter is now under investigation by the police Flying Squad.
The Customs Department says it is continuing its vigilance in risk management and intelligence based investigations to increase efforts in border protection.
