An 18-year-old student of Charlemont High School in Linstead, St. Catherine is in police custody after he was allegedly held with a gun Tuesday morning.
According to a police source, the student was at school when he was searched and a homemade gun with three rounds reportedly taken from him.
The police subsequently searched the student's home in Linstead, St. Catherine. Empty bullet casings were reportedly found.
The student is to undergo questioning.
