Clarendon councillor, Marjorie McLeod-McFarlane, has died

 
Councilor Marjorie McLeod-McFarlane of the Aenon Town Division in Clarendon has died.
 
She passed away at hospital on Sunday afternoon, reportedly after ailing for some time.
 
She won the division for the Jamaica Labour Party in the February 26 Local Government Election.
 
Minority Leader in the Clarendon Municipal Corporation, Scean Barnswell expressed shock at her passing.
 
He says the municipality has been rocked by her "untimely death."
 
Councilor McFarlane's passing reduces the JLP's 12 to 10 majority in the Clarendon Municipal Corporation to an 11 - 10 split.
