A taxi operator who plies the Rock River to May Pen route in Clarendon
Scores of commuters in Clarendon were stranded Monday morning after some taxi operators stopped working to vent their frustration about the condition of roads.
Operators who ply the Rock River to May Pen route blocked a section of Chateau Road from about 6 o'clock to highlight their concerns.
Students and teachers had to walk several miles to school.
The taxi operators are urging the authorities to fix the roads. They say they are also seeking a fare increase.
