More than $598,000 worth of cocaine has been seized by the Narcotics division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
The seizure was made on Wednesday around 6:00 p.m., following a scan of a shipment at the FedEx warehouse at Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).
Narcotic detectives were alerted and a total of seven Jamaican dolls destined to London, England were found to contain a white powder resembling cocaine.
The items were taken to the Narcotics Divisional Headquarters where they were further examined and concluded as cocaine weighing half a kilogram.
