Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia 'Babsy' Grange is still in hospital.
Last week, Government Senator Abka Fitz-Henley said Minister Grange was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit as a precautionary measure.
Mr. Fitz-Henley, who is also the Parliamentary Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, told Radio Jamaica News on Monday afternoon that Minister Grange's condition is improving.
"The good news is the Minister continues to get better on a day to day basis, though she is still hospitalised. The Minister wishes to reiterate that she is grateful for the outpouring of good wishes, and she is in fact in touch with her ministry, ensuring that it continues to execute its mandate," he disclosed.
