The police have imposed a curfew on Duncans, Trelawny. The curfew started Monday and will remain in effect until 6:00 Wednesday evening.
The boundaries of the curfew are north along Duncans Bay to the sea; south along the Prospect main road to Spicy Hill; east from Duncans Bay to Highway 2000; and west along Log Wood Walk and Crawle to the North Coast Highway.
Earlier in the day, just hours before the curfew started, a man said to be linked to Imani's death was killed. The shooting took place on the Duncans main road close to where the little girl was shot and metres away from the Duncans All-Age School where she was a special student.
Eyewitnesses say the man was shot shortly after he left his house in a light brown Toyota motor car.
He was travelling with another man when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle. The dead man has been identified as Zaveer Brown.
The other passenger, who was injured, has been admitted to hospital. The police took two other men who were at the scene into custody.
