A pedal cyclist died from injuries he received in a collision with a motorcycle on the Lodge main road in Exchange, Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
The deceased is 38-year-old Kemar Salmon, a lifeguard of Mile End in the parish.
It is reported that, about 11:05 a.m., Mr. Salmon and the motorcyclist were travelling in opposite directions when they collided while negotiating a corner of the intersection of Mile End and Lodge main road.
Both men were seriously injured and assisted to St. Ann's Bay Regional Hospital where Mr. Salmon was pronounced dead.
The driver of the motorcycle was admitted.
