Damion Crawford and Dr. Andre Haughton have been sworn in as Opposition senators.

They took the Oath of Allegiance at the start of the sitting of the Upper House on Friday.

Mr. Crawford resigned from the Senate to contest the April 4 Portland Eastern by-election which was won by the Jamaica Labour Party's Ann-Marie Vaz.

Following the election, it was announced that he would be reappointed to the Senate.
