Duke and Duchess visit Shortwood Teachers' College

The Duchess of Cambridge delivered a speech at Shortwood Teachers' College in St. Andrew on Wednesday during which she hailed the crucial role teachers play in early childhood education.
 
The duchess, who toured the institution with her husband, said she was touched by the warmth shown to them since their arrival in the island.
 
The royal couple will attend a dinner on Wednesday night at King's House, during which the duke is to publicly address the issue of slavery in a speech.
 
They will leave Jamaica on Thursday.
