Entertainment Centre to be established in Montego Bay

Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett has announced plans to establish what he’s calling Jamaica's first entertainment centre in 2020.

He said this is to enhance the country's entertainment and tourism sectors.

The project will receive financial support from the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) with construction set to begin in Montego Bay later this year.

Speaking at the recent launch of  Reggae Month in Kingston, Mr Bartlett said the TEF will allocate $50-million to do the design and preparatory work.
